Petticoat Tails

Ingredients

  • 1 cup soft butter
  • 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Mix butter, sugar, and vanilla.
  2. Blend in flour and salt. (Finish mixing by hand if necessary.)
  3. Mold into rolls about 2” in diameter.
  4. Wrap in wax paper and chill several hours or overnight.
  5. Remove wax paper and slice rounds ⅛” thick.
  6. Bake 8-10 minutes at 350°-375°.
